• The incumbent shall be responsible for carrying out research and analytical examinations on a broad range of economic areas such as retail price range, tariff rebalancing, universal service, accounting separation, costing models, royalties etc...
• The incumbent shall provide inputs on constructing policies and carry out impact analysis of proposed policies from an economic standpoint. You shall also analyze price change requests, monitor competition trends and prepare periodic reports.
• The incumbent shall also be responsible to carry out benchmarking and research of telecom indicators and analyze financial statistics of the telecom sector in the UAE.

Bachelors degree in Economics, however a masters is highly preferred.

Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.

• Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentation

Higher Diploma or Degree

• Possess very good knowledge about different government and non government entities in UAE especially those involved with the TRA in Regional and International activities related to GCC & Arab Affairs
• Possess good knowledge about the different international activities of the GCC secretariat office in Riyad and GCC telecom Office in Bahrain related to ICT.
• Manage and undertake effectively the coordination between International Affairs section and other relative sectors/departments at the TRA for all International activities related to GCC & Arab ICT subjects.
• Participate and efficiently represent the TRA and UAE in all Regional and International GCC and Arab meetings and events and defend the UAE positions on ICT subjects accordingly
• Possess very good knowledge about the International Telecommunication Union and its International mandates especially linking those of common interest to the GCC & Arab Affairs Activities

Bachelors in telecommunication Engineering in related discipline with preference for Masters

6-8 years of relevant experience in telecom sector at various levels

• Negotiation and relationship building skills

• Requires diplomacy and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
