Proceeding from the continuous endeavor of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) to review the best practices related to institutional excellence, H.E. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, TRA Director General, headed a delegation consisting of heads of departments and officials in the TRA, in a visit to the General Headquarters of Dubai Police, to review with senior officials in the force, the comprehensive quality experience of Dubai Police. He was received by Maj. Gen. Khamis Matar Al Muzainah, Deputy Commander General of Dubai Police and Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidali, Director of General Department of Comprehensive Quality.

Commenting on the visit, H.E. Director-General said: "the TRA continues to be concerned with the best successful practices and experiences in the fields of quality and excellence, therefore, today’s visit to the General Headquarters of Dubai Police falls within the framework of a visit aiming at reviewing the experience of Dubai Police in change management System, e-transformation of services, human resources and the structure of Dubai Police.

A presentation on the General Department of Comprehensive Quality and its structure was presented during the visit, along with an explanation about the Dubai Police experience in institutional excellence and the structure of the General Department of Comprehensive Quality.

During the meeting, several officials in Dubai Police explained to H.E. the Director General the status of the change management system, and the change policy adopted by Dubai Police, along with a presentation on the organizational structure, the design of the administrative structures and the different methods followed to prevent the overlap of different functions of the departments of Dubai Police.

The Al-Ghanim reaffirmed during the discussions the readiness of the TRA to cooperate with all government organizations in the country, as well as its readiness to provide all assistance required by these bodies in order to ensure achieving the best possible level of government services.

Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. referred, in a statement following the visit, to the importance of such communications between Dubai Police and the TRA for achieving the best levels of quality stressing the need for continuing of such mutual exchanges between the two sides to reach the desired goals.

The Dubai Police delegation, which participated in the talks that took place during the visit of H.E. the Director-General of the TRA, included in addition to H.E. Maj. Gen. Khamis Matar Al Muzainah, Deputy Commander General of Dubai Police and Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidali, Director of General Department of Quality, Lieutenant colonel Badran Saeed Al Shamsi, Director of human resources development department and Ibrahim Mohammed Al Falasi, Quality Assurance Offices’ General Coordinator, besides a number of directors of general departments of human resources.

At the end of the visit, the two sides exchanged commemorative gifts on the occasion of the visit of H.E. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, TRA Director General to the General Headquarters of Dubai Police.
